Message Yeah, every time I've had a similar problem (in either of my boosted cars) it's pretty much always plugs. Too much boost with too shitty of fuel or too large of gap and voila, misfires.

Of course, the problem could be more serious too. But first thing I'd do is pull the plugs, check them out, make sure they appear to be in good condition, verify the gap.

I don't think you're running out of fuel. I suppose anything is possible. You're apparently on stock turbo, stock injectors and 14 psi is totally doable. I ran 15-17 for years on my first Z. It never had the problem of running out of fuel or spark blow out. Of course, I'm left wondering how the heck you know what you're boosting at all. Stock gauge shows what, 7 psi? Not sure how you KNOW it is 14.

Detonation is a pretty serious problem. If you pull your plugs and find you have some covered in oil, or have cracked porcelain insulators you may very well have some other more serious problems going on.

So I'm with Woody75 on this, start with the plugs.

Get an aftermarket boost gauge and disconnect the stock one all together. ;-)
